Reflective Work Term Questions
Mid-term site visit meetings are an opportunity for a co-op coordinator to connect with students and supervisors at their work site or virtually. It provides students with a chance to reflect on their learning and skills development, to consider ways they can maximize their co-op experience, and to gather feedback from direct supervisors regarding a students performance. It is also a time to discuss any workplace issues or challenges from both a student and an employer perspective.
In order to help prepare for the site visit meeting, please complete the Reflective Work Term Questions Form and upload it to the Moodle drop-box at least 3 days before your meeting. When planning for your onsite meetings, be sure to book a private meeting space on site. You will recieve an email from your co-op coordinator when it is time to schedule your site visit. Most site visits are done in person; however, in some cases Teams meetings are required.
In the interest of time and cost effectiveness, sometimes the site visit will be done by another coordinator other than your regular Co-op Coordinator. You will be notified by the coordinator conducting your visit to arrange the schedule.
Note: Be prepared to discuss your Learning Objectives and your Reflective Questions. These will be shared with your Supervisor.
