An advanced analytical chemistry laboratory course concerned with the application of instrumental methods to the chemical analysis of real sample types. The emphasis is on student preparation, problem solving and initiative. Detailed instructions are not normally provided for each experiment. This is a half semester laboratory course with required meetings and six laboratory sessions.
